Q: Where is badminton played at Uni?
A: We play at HK Ward on the University of Sydney Camperdown Campus with 5 available courts.      An online map is available.

Q: What are the session times?
A: Sunday from 2pm to 5pm and Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm.

Q: Can I play on any day I like?
A: Anyone can play on the Wednesday and Sunday sessions. Otherwise, you may choose to hire      your own courts for casual games at:

Q: What are the costs for students / non-students?
A: Please refer to the Club Info page.

Q: How can I join?
A: Just turn up at the times listed in the Club Info page and sign up for membership or pay casually      if you just want to try out. Please consult a committee member that will be present at the sessions      for more information about membership.

Q: Do I need a racquet?
A: Yes, you will need a racquet. The club only supplies shuttles, nets, and court hire.

Q: Is there any coaching available for beginners / advanced?
A: For beginners please contact the club for coaching. It requires arranging court booking and      shuttle expense. If your level is sufficient to be considered as a potential player for the university      team, then we may be able to offer training with the badminton squad.

Q: Are there any opportunities to play competitions?
A: Plenty. There are competitions most of the year around and at various places for Open, A, B, C      Grade levels. See the Tournament Calendar for more information.
